This is a level 2 course and should be preceded by atleast two level 1 courses. One of the key courses that must be taken before this course is Know Your Learner.

About this course:

Benjamin Bloom and his colleagues created Bloom’s Taxonomy to bring a standardized curriculum and evaluation criteria in education systems. The intent in creating the taxonomy was to focus on three major domains of learning: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The cognitive domain covered “the recall or recognition of knowledge and the development of intellectual abilities and skills”; the affective domain covered “changes in interest, attitudes, and values, and the development of appreciations and adequate adjustment”; and the psychomotor domainencompassed “the manipulative or motor-skill area.” Despite the creators’ intent to address all three domains, Bloom’s Taxonomy applies mainly to acquiring knowledge in the cognitive domain, which involves intellectual skill development.

This course focuses on preparing teacher’s to remember the three domains of taxonomy, understand it’s importance, apply cognitive domain, analyse student’s performance, evaluate learning outcomes of lesson plans & evaluation criteria for assessments.
